《Cat's in the Cradle》

《Cat's in the Cradle》由美国民谣歌手Harry Chapin创作的一首歌
Harry是以一边旅行一边创作的传统民谣歌手的方式从事着他所钟爱的演唱事业。他的音乐简洁、感情纯粹，蕴含着打动人心的力量。
这首“Cat's in the Cradle”出自Harry于1974年发行的专辑《事实和梦呓》（Verities & Balderdash），是Harry最为人熟知的作品。
歌中叙说了一个简单却耐人寻味的故事：小男孩在接受父亲的礼物--一个球以后，要求父亲和他一起玩，可父亲总是说:"改天吧!"虽然总被拒绝，小男孩还是很崇敬父亲，希望长大可以做父亲那样的人。后来男孩长大了，上了大学、毕业、工作……偶尔去探望父亲时父亲总说:"有空多来陪我，和我聊聊。"男孩说他很愿意，但很忙，所以:"改天吧!"望着男孩离去时的高大背影，父亲感叹:"他真像我……"
